In this FIBS Practice training, you will get an increased understanding on
- the rapidly changing regulatory landscape (e.g., EU taxonomy, SFDR, SCGD, CSRD);
- the methods for integrating ESG into i.a. business development, and business and investment strategies; and
- the ways other companies and investors are tackling these topics.
Sustainable finance plays a key role in the transition to a more resilient, fair, and resource efficient society. Sustainable finance also has a role in improved risk management, identification of business opportunities, and strengthened stakeholder relationships for the financial sector and companies. Currently, the regulatory landscape for sustainable finance and ESG analysis is changing in an unprecedented pace. This creates new demands from stakeholders and requires extensive actions from companies and investors.
In this landscape, moving from reactive compliance into proactive strategy and business development is a key to increased value creation and gaining competitive advantage. This workshop departs from the new ESG legislation and aims to arrive at increased understanding and capacity on how to deal these new requirements from a value creating perspective.
You are warmly welcome to hear insights and perspectives from leading experts and different actors in the financial sector, and share your experiences in making this strategic transition.
