The Working Group focuses on the most up-to-date developments in the area of business and human rights, as well as provides its members with practical tools and best practices to use on their own human rights journey.
In this session we will focus on collaborative approaches and joint initiatives for addressing systemic human rights challenges. We will look into opportunities and challenges in leveraging joint initiatives in preventing and mitigating systemic human rights risks and addressing root causes of adverse human rights impacts in different kinds of supply chains and operating environments.

- Key features of different types of collaborative initiatives addressing systemic human rights challenges.
- Benefits of collaborative approaches versus individual company efforts.
- Challenges in making collaborative approaches and joint initiatives work in practice and how to tackle them.
- How to engage key stakeholders in a meaningful manner in joint initiatives.
- What kind of leverage do collaborative initiatives have in addressing root causes of systemic human rights issues and generate change in industries and societies?
The session will include expert presentations, 1-2 company cases, and sharing of experiences and good practices with the participants.

Cancellations
Participation can be cancelled free of charge via the link in the registration confirmation message up to 48 hours before the event begins.
