Applications for the year-long Business & Human Rights group are now open!
The Working Group focuses on the most up-to-date developments in the area of business and human rights, as well as provides its members with practical tools and best practices to use on their own human rights journey.
The application period closes on 30 January 2026. We will contact all applicants as soon as possible after the application period has ended. Each meeting requires a separate registration, and invitations will be sent approximately two months before the event.
We are looking for/prioritize organizations which have more extensive global supply chains, and which are actively addressing their impacts therein. We prioritize applicants who have participated Business and Human Rights Group 2025.
For whom
We invite all FIBS Pro-subscribers who implement a Human Rights Due Diligence process in their operations, and in their global supply chains in particular, to send in their applications. We primarily accept 1 person/organization, but upon availability, we can extend this to max 2 persons/organization.
Schedule
In 2026, the group has three facilitated meetings – two in the Spring and one in the Fall. There will be a separate invitation for each session that is only open to group participants (or their stand-ins, where necessary).
3.3. 9:00-12:00
Enact-facilitated meeting
Tentative topic: Remediating human rights impacts in supply chains
27.5. 9:00-12:00
Enact-facilitated meeting
Tentative topic: Collaborative approaches for addressing root causes
15.9. 9:00-12:00

While we encourage participants to commit to all three sessions, we have added some flexibility to the group rules so that in case you are not able to join a particular meeting, you can send a colleague to stand-in.
