FIBS is the leading corporate responsibility network in the Nordics. We operate at the core of sustainability, strengthening organisations’ capabilities, expertise, and networks. While sustainability is already part of many companies’ strategic decision-making, achieving a more sustainable tomorrow requires even more impactful action, bold leadership, and broad collaboration.

We are now seeking partners to co-create and deliver comprehensive solutions that help FIBS members succeed in this work.

If you believe you can build impactful, holistic solutions with us — not just individual content pieces — this call is for you!

Why apply to become a FIBS partner?

As a FIBS partner, you gain a unique opportunity to:

  • position yourself as a driver of sustainable business in the Finnish corporate landscape
  • accelerate the sustainability transition within Finnish business
  • expand your professional network and build recognition as a thematic expert among sustainability‑focused companies
  • stay up to date on companies’ real development needs and learn through dialogue with key figures across industries
  • further develop your own expertise by co‑designing increasingly impactful trainings and content together with FIBS.

Additionally, partners receive:

  • professional event production — FIBS handles technical arrangements and marketing
  • name and logo visibility across FIBS communication channels
  • trainings and workshops that support succeeding in the partnership

What does partnership mean in practice?

The partnership is planned and agreed individually with each partner, and a written agreement is prepared.

Collaboration may include co-producing, for example:

  • webinars, trainings, and other small‑group activities
  • studies, guides, and tools
  • courses or programmes
  • communication and advocacy campaigns.

We expect partners to contribute approximately 15 working days per year. Partnerships are carried out on a pro bono basis.

The partnership can be delivered in Finnish and/or English. Duration is 1–2 years, depending on the agreement.

Which themes are we seeking partners for?

We are looking for partners to co‑produce both FIBS basic services and FIBS pro services. Explore the content areas below.

Basic services — a strong foundation for everyday sustainability work

With FIBS basic services, companies can build a solid foundation for their sustainability efforts and strengthen their business resilience. Basic services provide reliable and up‑to‑date information on key sustainability topics, complemented with practical examples — especially through webinars. Basic services are open to all FIBS members.

Themes we are seeking partners for:

  • Current essentials of nature and biodiversity work
  • Current essentials of climate work
  • DEI in practice
  • Human rights in business operations in Finland and globally
  • ESG risks and value chains: preparedness and resilience building
  • Reporting and communications supporting sustainable business
  • Regulation and compliance: interpreting and applying requirements in practice

Pro services — sustainability as a driver of value creation and leadership

FIBS pro services help companies integrate sustainability into business practices. They offer a cost‑effective way to deepen sustainable business expertise through in‑person trainings and confidential peer groups. Depending on the event, pro services target sustainability and business development directors and specialists, CFOs, and members of executive teams and boards. Pro services are available to FIBS members who have purchased access to them.

During this partner term, pro services will emphasise sustainability from the perspectives of competitive advantage, business value creation, and resilience.

Themes we are seeking partners for:

  • Environmental responsibility from a business value creation perspective
  • Social responsibility in value creation and risk management
  • Managing ESG risks and value chains to strengthen competitiveness and resilience
  • Managing sustainability to support strategic decision‑making
  • Foresight and scenario work in a changing world
  • Building sustainable business models
  • Strengthening business resilience through sustainability

What kind of partners are we looking for?

We are seeking organisations that have:

  • practical experience in delivering impactful trainings and projects in the selected themes
  • the ability to inspire and challenge participants, and to foster interaction rather than only one‑way lecturing
  • facilitation skills for both small and large events (or motivation to learn and apply facilitation methods in FIBS’ onsite and online activities)
  • a genuine willingness to develop and co‑create with FIBS, and to elevate our network’s capability toward a more sustainable future
  • forward‑looking thinking, enthusiasm, and strong insight.

To be selected, the partner organisation must be a member of FIBS by the time of finalising the partner agreement and commit to FIBS’ Code of Conduct.

What is the timeline for the partner search?

  • The partner application closes on 22 March 2026 at 23:59.
  • Based on the applications, we will select suitable candidates for interviews during March–April.
  • After the interviews, we will begin agreement negotiations with potential partners during April–May. Our goal is to finalise all partnership agreements by early June.
  • By September–October, the detailed 2027 content will be planned together with the partner.
  • New partners will be announced at the FIBS Autumn Meeting on 25 November 2026.

Other collaboration ideas?

In addition to the themes listed above, we welcome proposals that challenge our thinking and support FIBS members on their journey toward more sustainable and competitive business.
