In this webinar you will gain insights about
- How Finnish large and medium-size companies compare to global trends in the climate transition
- The emerging risks and opportunities shaping business decision-making
- What these insights mean for companies navigating the transition ahead
This webinar introduces a Finland-specific report that draws from the global WBCSD Business Breakthrough Barometer. The report provides a snapshot of how Finnish companies are navigating the climate transition and how their views and experiences compare to global trends.
As the climate transition accelerates in an increasingly uncertain environment, companies are reassessing how to balance competitiveness, resilience and long-term value creation. At the same time, geopolitical shifts, evolving policy frameworks, and market pressures are reshaping the conditions under which businesses operate and invest.
Based on survey data from Finnish companies the webinar explores how businesses are progressing in the climate transition – from targets and strategy to investment decisions, risk exposure, and expectations for policy and the operating environment. The country-specific findings are complemented by additional insights from interviews with a small number of Finnish companies.
The Finland-specific report builds on the global Business Breakthrough Barometer by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), which will be launched on 22 June during London Climate Action Week. Finnish companies have contributed to the global Barometer through a survey distributed by FIBS, and the same dataset forms the basis of this Finland-focused analysis. The report focuses on large and medium-size companies.
FIBS has been a member of WBCSD’s Global Network since 2012. The Network is a unique alliance of over 60 independent business-led organizations around the world, representing approximately 6,500 businesses committed to sustainable development.
