People, relations, nature, technology, and other non-financial aspects have a fundamental impact on business performance. In this training series we will explore how decision making and reporting can be improved through integrated thinking and management, and through a more integrated reporting.
Integrated thinking is a multi-capital management approach that enables organizations to deliver their purpose to the benefit of their key stakeholders overtime, and hereby ensuring and sustaining business success. It is about creating and preserving value and enabling better decision-making based on interconnected, multi-capital information. At the core of this is the Integrated Value Creation model.
In order to bridge the gap between financial and non-financial capital, the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and others formed the International Integrated Reporting Council and developed the Integrated Reporting framework <IR>. The framework helps companies and other organisation taking all types of capital into account, not only financial (e.g. natural, human and manufactured capital).
Integrated reporting is a process founded on integrated thinking that results in a periodic integrated report by an organization about value creation over time and related communications regarding aspects of value creation.
Join this highly interactive and inspiring training facilitated by FIBS Partner Enact, <IR> certified partner, to implement integrated thinking in a more efficient way through lessons learned from others and reduced cost for external consultations.
