This event is part of Business and Human Rights Group trainings and workshops, and only targeted for members of that Group. The members of the group can confirm their participation by registering for the event.
The Working Group focuses on the most up-to-date developments in the area of business and human rights, as well as provides its members with practical tools and best practices to use on their own human rights journey.
In our next session we will make a deep dive into identifying, assessing, and prioritizing human rights and environmental impacts to align with expectations from UNGPs, OECD Guidelines, and CSDDD – as well as other regulations including CSRD and Forced labour regulation to ensure synergies and coherency for any efforts.
In this FIBS Human Rights Group session we will focus
- How to map human rights and environmental impacts across your value chain, how to organise the work, what sources too look and what’s sufficient when looking at standards and upcoming regulations?
- What are the strategies and techniques for evaluating impacts based on severity and likelihood and prioritising them, for focusing on the most salient human rights and environmental issues?
- When and how to conduct in-depth assessments, including those in the field?
The session will include expert presentations, practical case, and sharing of experiences and good practices with the participants.
