After this FIBS Practice training, you will have an increased understanding on:
- how the landscape for green and sustainability linked financing solutions is developing;
- what the incentives are for companies to use these financing solutions;
- what the incentives are for financial actors to use these financing solutions; and
- what is the outlook for continued development of green and sustainability linked financing solutions.
More and more companies are financing their operations with loans and bonds with prefixes such as green, sustainable and ESG. Also, the range of these type of financing solutions provided by the financial sector is increasing rapidly.
In this session we take a deep dive into why using these kind of financing solutions has increased so rapidly during the last few years. The incentives to engage with such financing solutions are elaborated both from a company perspective and from the perspective of the financial sector. What are or would be the drivers for your company to use these financial instruments?
We also discuss what role these kind of financing solutions will play in the transition to more sustainable companies and more resilient societies. Departing from this, we sum up with an outlook on how this landscape of green and sustainability linked financing solutions could develop in the upcoming years.
