In this FIBS Practice event you will
- get the tools you need to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk and opportunity management into your business strategy, performance management and disclosures
This hands-on training builds on concepts outlined by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in their guidance Applying Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to ESG-related risks. The guidance is designed to help organizations respond to the increasing prevalence and severity of ESG-related risks, ranging from extreme weather events to product safety recalls.
The session will also unpack disclosure dilemmas, such as challenges related implementing the TCFD Recommendations and disclosing forward-looking information, providing practical tips, supporting efficient and effective disclosure practice.
The training is facilitated by Gordon Darling, Redefining Value programme, WBCSD.
