The format of the event (virtual or physical) will be decided later. FIBS will inform the participants about the arrangements at least two weeks prior to the event.
In this workshop you get to experience a creative approach to co-create around SDGs by playing a game called Sustainable Futures game, designed by service design agency Hellon as a part of Creatures EU project.
During the sustainable futures game you will co-vision a desirable future state in 2030 with focusing on selected 3 SDGs. In the second part of the game you will back cast to find out critical challenges and solutions to achieve this desirable future. The game uses methods from arts and design around improvisation, storytelling and creative problem solving. The game session will be documented for the design and research purposes.
In addition to get inspired by this creative session, you will also get a chance to influence the latest version of the game which will be published under Creative Commons license at the end.
If you want to know more about the CreaTures project:
This event is part of an EU funded research project called CreaTures, where the aim is to further the sustainability agenda with creativity. See more at https://creatures-eu.org. Hellon is participating in this project by creating a sustainable futures oriented game for businesses to increase their capability to co-imagine new, desirable sustainable futures and to reflect their own routes in there. The game will be built as a new and digital version of a previously developed game, called Nordic Urban Mobility 2050.
