FIBS has been supporting companies’ diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) work for over 10 years. In addition to training and other events, we have developed practical tools and conducted research on the state of companies’ DEI work. Diversity Charter in support of your DEI work
Diversity Charter is a tool developed by FIBS that allows companies and other work communities operating in Finland to develop their DEI management and service practices. The Charter is also a convenient way to communicate the company’s intentions regarding DEI work to both personnel and external stakeholders.
By signing the Diversity Charter, the company voluntarily commits to promoting diversity, inclusion and equality in the work community. The commitment is always signed by the company’s CEO.
The Charter is included in FIBS membership benefits. Get the Charter in Finnish or English (requires a username, create one here).

The signatories to the Diversity Charter are also part of the EU-level Diversity Charter network, which FIBS has represented in Finland since 2012. The network already includes national diversity commitments from almost 30 countries. There are a total of over 12,000 companies and organizations that have signed the commitment, and the commitments cover approximately 16 million employees across Europe.
Diversity and inclusion self-assessment tool
FIBS’s Diversity and inclusion self-assessment tool helps businesses and other organisations to identify different aspects and practices of diversity and inclusion work, and see which areas are the most important and should be developed further in their own organisation.
This tool is designed to support all types of organisations: the public sector and the private sector, small, medium-sized and large businesses and other organisations. The tool is publicly available and free of charge in Finnish, English and Swedish.
